You say that we are through
What am I suppose to do?
To leave your life to someone else?
Or stay by your side, through and through?
I start by looking back on myself
To see how I ruined our health
I found some wrong in what I did
I see it now, as I look back on myself
I wish you could forgive and forget
Instead of going through this
I messed this up, I went wrong
But I learned a lesson I will never forget
To take for granted the one you love
Is to throw blind faith to the one above
You "know" they will always be there
But instead, you slowly lose their love
