- I've taken what I learned about data management while coding my game and applied it to contemptible.org, the results, as you can see, are excellent.

- I'm in the process of completely overhauling the site. Sweeping changes will go in to effect soon in addition to the addition of quite a bit of backlogged writing that's been waiting to go up for a long damned time.

- A very happy St. Patrick's day to Jadenguil who is on this date, released from prison. She returns from thirteen months as a "guest" of her majesty's royal prison system - a time for which she was reduced to absolute humiliation in order to stay in touch with me and had to fight tooth and nail to survive. At last, she can join me here in the states. On the note of excuses: I've been up to my ears in schoolwork lately and haven't been able to do much to Contemptible.org, however now that I have my spring break, I intend to busy myself with catching up to keep my mind off of restlessness for Jade to actually get here

- Funny how "sometime soon" can turn in to a few months, isn't it? I have a number of things backlogged that need to be added and have been working on a new layout (which is half-done) for a few months on and off. My priority now is exterminating bugs and fleshing this out.

- I've gone from being completely dissatisfied with what appears here as the new layout to being pretty happy with how it's turned out. At my last count this layout has 28 tables containing 45 TR tags with 67 TD tags distributed between them; 29 images; 196 lines of mark-up; 2 image maps and one moron that typed it all out

- The last of my queue is here added, I've finally caught up. Note that In the Yard is a relatively new work, written within the last month and do take a look at Sensorium: The Afterlife for more of Jade's work. Sensorium is a site she maintains herself and is how she passes some of her time these days- worthwhile reading if you enjoy what you've read here. - Slacking, Slacking... I've noticed a warning being sent when it ought not be and I'm getting around to rewriting the function to see if it corrects the problem. A mediocre update and a temporary fix is in effect for some complaints I've had about navigation Three poems added (Bent; Fallen, not Forgotten; Just get on with it) Edit: Figured out what was generating that error, misnamed variable in the fuction. Should be working fine now.

- Jesus. I look and see that I haven't updated in... months. This requires explaination, I feel good reader, allow me to. In October of this year, if I remember correctly, it seems to have been an eternity, Jadenguil (who, if you are not familiar with the site's content has written all the poems and most of everything else you'll find here that is not simply copy, and furthermore is my muse) was taken in to the custody of the British government. I shant go in to all the details here as it does not need be aired publicly but I have heard very little aside from a date she was to have been slated for questioning. I, an American, living in America have been able to make no headway in hunting her down and figuring out where she is being kept or in finding out her family to milk them for information. Needless to say, the entire situation has left me more than a little heartbroken and furthermore uninspired. I maintained this site origionally at Jadenguil's behest and poured my creativity in to it because it delighted her. Rouses lonesomeness, I suppose you might say to do more than look at it - however I don't believe she'd wish that things ground to a complete halt, so in a few days here I'll put up some poems I had waiting to be added that I haven't as of yet and correct a few issues with the site (notably a JavaScript error on the greeting cards pages [will not affect sending cards, minor issue] and the perpetually broken counter). But don't expect anything new in the way of content until she has returned. Edit: Damned JavaScript error was global. I it was the Hitlogger.com code that is no longer supported (service went from free to for-profit - I never pay for anything I don't have to)

- It's been a while since a formal update has been here noted, which is not to say that those behind Terms of Contempt have been slacking. The site looks better than ever in the Netscape browser (most of you, of course, won't notice or care) and has generally been improved and made more efficient. Look for an update you'll actually give a damn about real soon.
