As She Counted Spiders
Spun in a web she looked on deep down memories
Not able to hide in them the spiders came to take her away
The cuts so deep only the ones family could cause
went through her soul like a finely honed knife
One slash so small
Two deeper and stronger
Till ten…finely woven red threads
The colour so beautiful
Vivid lines trickling
She hated them
She loved them
She wanted to get away
Shifting to emotionless states
She wanted… peace
She cut again, the blood flowed
Finally out of her web as her lifeblood seeped
she became the spider
Tangled in her own web of grief
the same as before but this time…
they didn't save her from herself
nor did she
