I Belong Where?
Closer to the end
I come within reach
Then it is snapped away
The closer I come
To finding myself
The farther I am pulled away
I need to get closer
To find me and figure out
Exactly what I am here for
It's a mystery why I can't get there
Either I'm not supposed to know
And the riddle which is me
Is to be held captive forever
Moments running together
Yet no understanding developing
Running so far only for the road
To continue to stretch endlessly
Or I am close and just don't realize it
One day I know it will stop
I will be flung headlong into me
Then all the answers will be revealed
I will be happy or sad
At least I won't be wondering
Where it is I am
