One Day
There is a little place in the center of my head
And you are there, and I am there, it is nice
Pretty vivid colours, oh so beautiful
We sing and laugh, tell tales, oh wondrous
Things are simple and come easy
Love flows and ebbs filling us
There is a little place in the center of this brain
Where I live each day out in misery
It is black and cold and cloudy
There is no talking no laughing
Everything is hard and pointy
Hate throbs it's melody of bitterness
I live in both worlds and look
From one to the other deciding
I run to you in the lovely place
And stay and stay, though I feel a tug
I ignore that needling as it touches me
I want the happy and the beauty
I don't want the ugly and the mean
How is it possible to have that
When it eludes me?
One day, I will just take it
And it'll stay and stay
And I'll just be
With you
